Ameliasburgh Fall Fair

The weather was perfect again this year for the Ameliasburgh Fall Fair, held Sept 27 and 28. Saturday featured the opening parade, opening remarks from Steve Campbell (complete with original song), the cattle show, musical entertainment from Decades, two shows from Hot Diggity Dogs, and lawnmower tractor pulls.

Sunday’s lineup included the horse show, the dog and cat show, the winners of the Infant Parade, and Becky Elliot on stage. All weekend, visitors enjoyed displays of homecrafts, art and photography, flowers, fruits and vegetables, woodworking and schoolwork. The Spinners Guild also demonstrated in the Town Hall.

The annual softball tournament, held in conjunction with the Fair, raised over $600 for the Storehouse Foodbank in Wellington.

Join us next year, Sept 26 and 27, with The Reasons headlining Saturday’s entertainment lineup.
